Every Session Reminds Me Why
Balancing a full-time job with my photography business can be a lot. There are days when I feel completely drained, questioning if I’ve stretched myself too thin. Between the editing, the planning, and the long hours, it would be easy to lose sight of why I started in the first place.
But then, I step behind the camera.
Every time I meet a new family or couple, something shifts. The tiredness fades. The stress quiets down. I’m reminded that this is so much more than just taking photos. It’s about connection. It’s about capturing laughter that can’t be staged, hugs that feel like home, and smiles that tell a story all on their own.
What makes it even more special is the kindness I receive from the people I work with. My clients are always so welcoming, encouraging, and genuine. Their joy and trust in me fuel my creativity in ways I can’t explain. Each session brings a spark back to life, reminding me that this is exactly why I became a photographer.
Photography has given me the chance to freeze moments that families will treasure forever. To help people see their own beauty through my lens. To celebrate milestones, love, and everyday connections. That’s what keeps me coming back, even on the hardest days.
So yes, it’s exhausting sometimes. But every session, every laugh, and every connection makes it worth it. My clients remind me, again and again, why I signed up for this journey. And for that, I’m endlessly thankful.
